Making progress at last ...
I thought this would have happened two years ago when we started to build the house. I had great plans to follow the trials and tribulations – and the joys – on line with a (hopefully) sympathetic band of merry followers.
Then I thought that once we moved into the house, it would miraculously inspire me to talk about the next part of the journey … the home decoration chapter. That was until I realised that the decision between a blue cushion and a pink cushion is incredibly tedious to anyone who isn’t going to enjoy the comfort of the said-cushion and doesn’t give a fig about the not-seen-fabric. Fortunately, I didn’t do that, either.
So now we come to the exciting part, especially for those who love gardens, who love to write and who are looking for a place that combines the two – the writers’ garden. We are all set up now - except for a few details like pricing and timing - but I am determined this will happen. Once the winter winds stop howling, there will be a writers' retreat in full swing.
The garden is thriving and I must get out and take some photographs. The house is now trimmed with gardenias and hydrangeas, crepe myrtles line the parking area and there are trees everywhere. It is certainly looking magnificent...and thank you for being so patient.
